IS BASIX KNOWLEDGE ACADEMY ACCREDITED?
Yes, BaSix Knowledge Academy is accredited with quality by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, since 2005, through Georgia Accrediting Commission. This is the oldest accrediting body in the State of Georgia. Qualifying graduates are eligible for the Hope Scholarship and college admission throughout the United States. Graduates are also eligible for military entrance after passing required entrance exam scores.

MAY CREDITS EARNED ELSEWHERE BE TRANSFERRED?
Yes, academic credits earned at other schools may be transferred. Credits earned at BaSix Knowledge may also be transferred to other public or private high schools.

WHAT IF A STUDENT NEEDS ADDITIONAL ACADEMIC SUPPORT?
If a student needs additional support outside of our classroom experience, we strongly recommend tutorial for students to specifically pinpoint deficiencies. BaSix Knowledge offers onsite tutorial programs after school for students who need additional reinforcement.

HOW MANY EXAMS ARE GIVEN?
Mid-term and Final Exams are administered on site per semester/quarter and are proctored by an approved Staff member. All exams are comprehensive. Students also take the ASVAB and/or ITBS during the spring semester.

HOW IS THE CURRICULUM STRUCTURED?
All students of BaSix Knowledge Academy must have access to a computer. Many of our assignments and texts require this daily use. Our curriculum follows the Georgia Performance and Common Core Standards. All traditional courses are offered. Each course encourages reading and think beyond what is presented. Our certified staff and teachers are able to give tangible examples to bring our curriculum alive and relevant. We encourage time-management and self-discipline in completing projects, assignments and quizzes.
